  1. From what I’ve been witnessing, at least for the 2PM Doug show, it’s still been going on as a live show. I’ve caught his show a few times over the last couple of weeks. I’ve used it as kind of an alarm clock, I just leave the site open, and at 2PM, you get to be woken up by Doug Nagy, it’s awesome. As for John’s show, I’m not sure because I work at night. So if it’s on, I can’t see it anyway. It’s a shame that they can’t repost these for download. However, keep in mind that currently Doug’s in Canada so the two can’t do a podcast together anyway right now. John’s also a pretty bust guy as of late as well. I hope it can come back soon/

    I’ve always been astounded at the time and effort you’ve put into both the website and the Uncut podcast. Your podcast has been a “gotta listen to this one first!” show ever since my first download. I respect your film knowledge and opinions, and I, like many others, have been a loyal listener for years.

    I’m sure there’s a reason why you’ve shut down the podcast. Maybe it’s due to time constraints, or personal issues, or maybe you’ve done it for so long that it feels more work than fun. Whatever the reason, it’s completely valid because, hell, you were doing this in your free time, unpaid.

    But can you give us an official announcement about the future of the Movie Blog Uncut podcast?

    I keep looking at my iTunes like a mother who constantly makes furtive glances at the telephone, waiting for a call from her daughter who ran away from home. I miss the show, and I’d like to know if there’s a chance it’ll ever come back.

    I’ve looked through the Movie Blog website, both of your personal blogs and the Uncut LIVE website at Upstream, but I can’t find any explanation.

    Please take a moment to write a post under the “Uncut Podcast” link at the top of your main page so we will know if we should keep waiting.

  5. Wow, I hadn’t realized it was 3 weeks. I’ve almost listened to every Uncut episode thus far, except the older ones that no longer work. Have there been shows going on? Or are you just not reposting them? I really miss the show and am unable to hear it live. I hope one day, the glory of Campea/Nagy is reunited for all of us to hear (seriously guys, the way you two contrast one another is perfect. Also, is Doug’s show gonna be posted for download as well? I want my MBU!

  6. I think Doug’s in Canada right now, so that’s why he’s not on the show. John might be a little busy with “The Anniversary” right now as well. I’m sure it’ll be back soon.

  7. I really like The Movie Blog podcast but what I liked was the combination of John and Doug. Between that and getting a podcast every 3 weeks, I can’t stay with it anymore.
