First it was Fool’s Gold and now it’s more Gold for Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey. In this fascinating tale of a stumbling businessman that searches for a break and decided to team up with a geologist in an attempt to find gold in the jungles of Indonesia. This film has 1980’s written all over it. The look and the tone of it. McConaughey is virtually unrecognizable in the role of Kenny Wells, to his credit he does a fantastic job. This is an exciting and entertaining movie that will have you glued scene-to-scene till the end. Edgar Ramirez and Bryce Dallas Howard also star in supporting roles. This movie has the feel of movies such as The Wolf of Wall Street and War Dogs. So far Gold is one of the more entertaining movies of 2017.
