Top upcoming projects of Mckenna Grace

At the ripe age of 19, Mckenna Grace has been a part of movie franchises one could only dream of in their life-long career. Stepping into the Hollywood spotlight as a child prodigy in films like Gifted and television shows like The Vampire Diaries, she has proved how true she is to her craft. It’s 2026, and we’re anticipating sequels, reboots, and new films where Mckenna seems to dominate. So here are some upcoming movies we’ll be watching her in!

Slanted (March 13, 2026)

Starting this list off with Mckenna’s yet another horror/thriller appearance. After working in movies like Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 and Scream 7, Mckenna is starring in another horror film. Body horror and comedy, to be exact. The film premiered at SXSW, receiving a lot of critical acclaim. Amy Wang has written and directed the film that follows Joan Huang (Grace), a high-schooler who wants to be like the popular girls at school.

The only way to win prom queen is to be like them. Therefore, she finds herself in a shady cosmetic surgery clinic, ‘Ethnos’, which makes people turn white. Once she goes through it, she realizes that the results are mortifying. Joining her are cast members Shirley Chen, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Elaine Hendrix. Though the actor has embraced similar roles in the past horror franchises, this could be her most vulnerable role that would test her acting range.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (November 20, 2026)

Another hit cinematic universe, which Mckenna will be joining, is The Hunger Games universe. The world of Panem this time will feature the 50th Hunger Games, the Second Quarter Quell. The story will unveil how young Haymitch Abernathy won the deadly survival games.

Maysilee Donner will play Maysilee Donner, the original owner of the famous mockingjay pin that was passed down through generations. That being said, this performance will very likely carry emotional weight as its significance left its lasting legacy on the forthcoming decades.

Scooby-Doo! (Live-Action Series)

The most recent announcement has been made about Mckenna Grace featuring in the new Scooby-Doo! Live Action Series. A project that’s been a dream for any actor to be a part of one of the most beloved animated cartoons. She has been cast for the role of Daphne Blake. The casting is so spot on, not only because Mckenna seems to be easy on the eyes as Daphne, but also because she voiced in the 2020 animated film Scoob! This is indeed a full-circle moment for the actress.

The series will be eight-episodes long about the origin of Mystery Inc. The gang, Shaggy, Freddy, and Velma will meet up at the final summer camp where they’ll be mystified by a haunting mystery involving supernatural murders.

PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie (July 31, 2026)

PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie will have Grace reprise her role as Skye, who is the Cockapoo and the team’s aviator. This time, a volcanic eruption is about to happen when the pups crash land on a Dino island. They must stop Mayor Humdinger before the island gets destroyed. The animated movie will hit the theaters on July 31, 2026. Other cast members include Jennifer Hudson and Paris Hilton.
