Hey there guys. Just wanted to put up a quick post to let you all know about something we announced on the last Podcast. As some of you may know, we’ve now officially changed the name of the podcast from “The Audio Edition” to “The Movie Blog: Uncut”. AND, there will now be 3 shows per week. The Monday Round Table shows will remain as they always have been with both Audio and Video options. But the new shows will be broadcast LIVE over the internet on Wednesday and Friday nights at 3pm PST (Los Angeles time), 6pm EST (New York time) and 11pm GMT.
We’ve joined up with the Now In LA network (Soon to be known as Now Live) to bring you guys a live show that is going to be more interactive than we’ve ever imagined the show could be. You’ll not only be able to call in live to talk to us, but you can text live, join live chats forums, upload audio and video and a few things more. All live as we do the show.
Sometime after each show, the audio will be added to the Podcast so you can download it again later.
We are VERY excited about this new step for the show, and we really hope you guys will join us THIS FRIDAY for our first show! As my friend Marty Keegan once said, the scariest thing about throwing a party is that no one might show up. So, we’re throwing the party… and hope you guys come and join us.

Are these going to be put up as podcasts?
Just listened to the broadcast replay.
I liked it, but it’s not a big break away from the podcast format. You got 1 guy on the phone (you couldn’t hear)and a couple of dudes going shit/poo/suck/sodomy on the chatboard – so much for the “interactive” part…. OK, OK, I realise this was a first for you, so I will definitely cut you some slack – but I think you have to work on it so that the “live uncut edition” really sounds and feels different from the regular podcast.

Maybe its the nosey neighbor in me…but, why the time change? (Doesnt matter too much, i work in the PM so i will have to listen via pre-taped podcast anyway! sniff sniff)

Really happy for these new developments, if I can’t get to listen live I’ll make sure to download the podcast. One thing that I love about the Now In LA description is: “interactive agent of themovieblog.com’s GLOBAL CINEMATIC EMPIRE”.
