  1. SPL was pretty good, cool action, but it indeed took itself way too seriously. Dragon Tiger Gate was a good old fashion mindless kung-fu flick and I loved it. The seven samurai was a better movie overall than the others, tho not as action packed.

good luck at F4FF John, hope everyone has a good time, if i didn’t live in dc i would go.

    peace….

  2. SPL was overrated. It was good for action but they tried to make it into something more and I don’t think they succeeded. It should either have been less action oriented with more plot or less plot with more action.

  3. This was kinda of slow movie, it was very highly anticipated and didnt really deliver.

If you want some good Donnie Yen check out SPL or Dragon Tiger Gate, excellent films and quite different from each other.

  4. Believe me this is not a good movie is quite boring, another kung-fu flick from the east ie Hong Kong. Rented this awhile ago and almost wanted my money back from the dvd store….The director Tsui Hak, is just flat out boring at best!
