Take Me Home Tonight Trailer and Poster Online

Take Me Home Tonight is attempting to take coming of age underdog story in the 80s. And a new poster and trailer have hit the net.

It’s pretty fitting that Topher Grace would be playing a coming of age teenager revolving around the popculture of the 80s after he played a coming of age teenager revolving around the popculture of the 70s. No typecasting at all there.

But it does look like fun and I am a sucker for movies where the guy tries to date outside of his paygrade.

Take Me Home Tonight comes out on March 4th, 2011.

  1. Yeah doesn’t fill like the eighties I remember. Seem’s to be a bunch of actors in somewhat eighties clothes. It looks like it might be fun though. Topher’s movie career hasn’t really taken off. I don’t think this film will help any but it’ll give his fan’s something to see.

  2. I really like Topher Grace as an actor, he was amazing in ‘In Good Company’. I feel this is just a good example of a bad movie choice and I hope he at some point starts choosing better scripts with more compelling characters.

  3. This looks pretty unsettling. It doesn’t feel like the eighties at all, I’m choking on the movie-title-song-playing cliche and Topher Grace is seriously playing Eric Foreman in a different setting. Everthing in the trailer has been done; stealing the car, fat guy getting the babe etcetera, etcetera. This is no Hot Tub Time Machine, which also was not good piece of cinema but was one of those bad movies you can’t help but love.

    yep.

  4. Why did this movie take 3 years to come out? After this long, I thought it was gonna be a straight to DVD release or something. I am psyched out of my mind. I love Topher Grace.
