It looks like Lindsay Lohan has decided to celebrate her nudity with the world! We get the following details, and were made aware of this story thanks to our friends at cinematical:
She’s done the DUI thing. She’s done the rehab thing. Now, Lindsay Lohan is mounting her comeback by posing completely nude — as Marilyn Monroe — in New York Magazine. The photos are meant to re-create Monroe’s famous 1962 shoot, shot by Bert Stone, called The Last Sitting. Says NY Mag: “But the pictures are also remarkable for the raw truths they seem to reveal. In them, we see an actress whose comedic talents were overshadowed by her sex appeal, a woman who is cannily aware of her pinup status, yet is also beginning to show her 36 years. In many shots, she is obviously drunk. This was an unhappy time for Monroe.”
I think this is a good move for Lohan. I have long thought that she should celebrate debauchery and become a B-Movie starlet championing the art of sleaze and trash. This is a foot forward in that direction, and I am certainly delighted. Now all we need is for her to star in a few women in prison movies and she will be set up nicely to follow in the footsteps of legends like Sybil Danning and Lana Clarkson (RIP).
Although I think her heart was in the right place, I do not like this photoset. Lohan isn’t a good Marilyn; Anna Nicole should have done this set when she was alive. Lohan looks much, much better as a brunette; the blonde just does not work on her and she needs to dye that shit back pronto. If she is willing to pose nude, she should certainly contact the good people over at Playboy. They will create pictures that flatter her look and character; rather than wasting her precious time and nudity with an awkward homage.

I personally give her alot of credit. Nowadays they can do so many touch ups they can make almost anyone look perfect. She was willing to go out there and say this is me, this is my body and I’m proud of it. The Marilyn theme may not have been the best choice but hey whatever. She’s a beautiful young wonam not afraid to show off the freckles, only showing what paparazzi have been trying to get pics of for years, now maybe they’ll lay off. I think that was her intention.

I find this hilarious. There was a time when the internet would have exploded if she’d done a nudie spread. Now she does it and she gets ripped on. She doesn’t look good here at all. All the fabric hanging on her head in that one pic looks ridiculous, and she doesn’t even look fully awake.
And I think she’s taken the criticism over her blond hair to heart, since she’s recently gone back dark. There were pics of her at a WWE show recently(and WTF was she doing at a WWE show, anyway? Trying to fuck John Cena?) and her hair is reddish brown.

I found the photos to be OK, at least they are free of the usual photo filters commonly unleashed on a series like this. I think this should be quite ’nuff to generate immense chit-chat and hype about Lohan, so these photos are probably successful already as she hardly had other plans with them than being hyped about for.

The Pics are nice, how ever I agree with who ever said it, She doesn’t pull off the blond so well, she was truly heart stopingly gorgeous when she was a red head (Mean Girls) I agree with Doug as well that Playboy would have done a WAYYYYYY better job with a shoot on her. Don’t think I can’t appreciate a nice pair of bazookas, but Lindsay Lohan is no Marilyn Monroe. So for her to “recreate” this isn’t only distasteful, it’s also pretty egotistical. She’s an attractive girl but she’s far from being considered “hot”.

I agree that this is a good move for Lohan. But going nude like this was not a great start. I think posing for Playboy would have been MASSIVE with her natural hair color, not posing as someone who she looks nothing or has anything to do with really.
