BLEACH Artist Gallery Experience Coming to Los Angeles for Anime Expo

Fans of the long-running anime franchise BLEACH will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the series during Anime Expo week. VIZ Media has announced the BLEACH LA: The Artist Collective, a first-of-its-kind gallery experience taking place at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center in Los Angeles.

Running from July 1 through July 5, the exhibition celebrates the history and mythology of the series. The gallery features original works from more than 20 internationally acclaimed artists, including Audrey Kawasaki, Simone Legno, Yoskay Yamamoto, Jasper Wong, and Greg Mike. These artists have reimagined iconic characters such as Ichigo, Rukia, and members of the Soul Society through various mediums, including fine art, street culture, and contemporary design.

The timing of this exhibition aligns with the upcoming premiere of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity. This event serves as a tribute to the franchise, which remains one of the most influential series in anime history. Beyond the original artwork on display, the gallery will offer select exclusive art prints and merchandise for fans and collectors.

A Celebration of Iconic Anime

The exhibition is curated by Jasper Wong and Simon Chin, with VIZ Media partnering with organizations including World Wide Walls, Merchlabs, Static Medium, and Thinkspace Gallery. In addition to traditional canvases, the collection includes three custom surfboards inspired by the series, created by artist Jack Soren.

The return of the franchise through the Thousand-Year Blood War arc has sparked a global resurgence for the series. Originally part of the Big Three alongside NARUTO and One Piece, the series continues to maintain a massive following. This gallery experience highlights the enduring impact of the characters and battles that defined a generation of fandom.
