Bill Condon has revealed a teaser image from Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn – the unneccessary fourth book turned two part cinematic cash cow for the franchise.
I think that for fans of the series, this represents something very subtle, and that is the deflowering of Bella Swan and the conception of their demonspawn half vampire child. Considering the rating of the film and the discussion over how violent it will be for Bella to give birth (Spoiler: Edward EATS the baby out of her belly – not making that up) and the graphic nature of their honeymoon consumate love making, it was expected that the film would get a more mature rating.
But an image like this shows just how they can show the passion of their martial love making (which knocks Bella out and trashes the room – thus the exposed feathers) can be done with subtlety.
I still think it is rediculous that they are taking this epilogue of a book and breaking it into two films.
And yes, there will surely be some twhaters out there ready at the keyboard saying the whole series wasn’t neccessary. You are so clever.
