Battle: Los Angeles Trailer, Teaser Poster and Set Videos Online

Another alien invasion conflict film by Jonathan Liebesman called Battle: Los Angeles will rip up the otherwise conflict free streets of LA with Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Pena, and Bridget Moynahan on March 11th, 2011.

Dread Central says:

For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world – Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world’s great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It’s up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they’ve ever encountered before.

And check out the trailer:

And an impromptu “behind the scenes” set visit from some Louisiana locals driving through a city street made up to be a war zone on the streets of LA.

And the Teaser Poster:

The film is looking pretty good, but so did Skyline. I can hope this will be better.

  1. Looks pretty good from a production standpoint, definitely looks better than Skyline.

But I’m tired of alien films like this. An alien species can traverse galaxies, and we’re able to withstand them militarily? I’d like something a little different, that’s what made District 9 so great.

    1. Good point about facing them with a primative military. I’ve always felt the same way. Even with ID4. (still liked ID4, but it broke the mold IMO, it’s starting to get old)
