Adrien Brody talks Ant Man Rumours

Rumour hit high gear as word came about that Adrien Brody is being considered for the role of Ant Man in Edgar Wright’s adaptation of the tiny hero.

But if there is any talking at all, Brody isn’t the one moving lips, but from his statement, it looks like his people are working on it.

ScreenRant quotes Brody:

“I haven’t been involved in any of those discussions – I have mentioned it to my reps who have been kind of covert about their response as well, which is very strange to me. I said ‘Is there any validity to this, what is this?’ and they said ‘Well…it’s too early to say.’ It was very strange and I kind of dropped it at that…Not everything that is bandied around the Internet is factual, but sometimes there are elements that do stem from truth that people who are in the middle of it aren’t aware of either. We’ll see.”

I am not sure how I feel about Brody as Ant Man. Would he be a good match for Henry Pym? But like he said, it is far too early to know for sure.

What do you think of Adrien Brody in the role?

  1. He’d make a good Bruce Banner not a good Hank Pym. Brody has a bookish quality to him that fits Banner not Pym. Pym is more of an intelligent jockish type. Pym has more of an out going personality not introverted at all. That’s my take anyway.
