Just last week we shared some footage from MTV’s The Goon and now at Comic Con they have released a full trailer.
Described as:
Based on the cult comic from Dark Horse Entertainment, created by Eric Powell in 1999, the comic follows the adventures of a muscle-bound brawler who claims to be the primary enforcer for a feared mobster. The stories have a paranormal and comedic edge to them and concern ghosts, zombies, mad scientists and “skunk apes.”
Much of this is the same footage we already saw, but this gives us a bigger picture of what this is about.
Looks like some fun to me.

Saw this panel at the con and I’ve been a huge fan of The Goon for ages and the way they talked about creating this movie is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The character designs, animation, mood, setting – perfect. Please give these people the money to get this film made. Day 1 at the cinema for me.
Wow, that was a huge surprise. Looks awesome and really damn funny. Plus Paul Giamatti as one of the main characters.
