A new clip comes online sharing the first meeting of Jay Baruchel’s character Dave and Nic Cage’s Balthazar.
I really would have liked to have seen the kid freak out a bit more at first. If I picked up a figurine and it started moving I would have dropped it in surprise! But at least this way we find out that he recruited his apprentice very young, and perhaps something happens that keeps them apart, but Balthazar comes looking for him someday.
I am very encouraged to see this.
