Twilight Trailer

We have obtained the Twilight trailer for you today thanks to the WEBMASTER over at Film Junk:

According to the WEBMASTER Twilight is “about a group of vampires, and a seventeen year old girl who falls in love with one of them.” The film is based on the novels of Stephenie Meyer. I am not familiar with the works of this children’s author, but please share if you or your youngsters have read the book.

  1. This is really a good, here in this site we will come the know about and here is sample of the movie in the form of trailer that’s good, after seeing the preview we are really interested to see the movie.

  2. twilight is the most amazing book i have read i would defonately recommed the book to everyone, (if like me you love romance you will love the twilight saga!!

  3. I really like the books they are amazingly written. You can just feel the love and passion of Edward and Bella. I didn’t like Jacob untile Brakeing Dawn when I got a good laugh at his sarcasim towards Rose. With that said it seems like the Director to her own view on the moive and left alot of what the main plots of the book out. It is like she tried to make it in to a horror moive and add things in the moive that didn’t happen in the book. Like the fact that Edward calles Bella a sweater monkey because she is on his back. How they flew through the trees in stead of landing on his couch in his room. It is just a little disapointing. It seems that she left out some of the humor that was there with Emmett and the rest of them to make the movie just about the dramatics of it. That kinda blows though because my favorite parts are the light and funny momments between all of them. I think she over did alot of it.

I don’t by Kristen Stewart as Bella . She made the roll to instens in stead of strong and lovable. I am not a crazy fan I know it seems that way. But I just enjoy a good book, and if that book is turned in to a good movie it is even better because you get to see the characters
    come to life.

Everyone campares these books to Harry Potter . I just don’t see that in anyway maybe that is just me. They are both fantisy yes but that is all they have in common. I love the Harry Potter book and movies. The thing is with Harry Potter the movies stayed in line with the books. The Twilight moive just seems a mess. I am still going to see it though just so I can have a face to put with the characters.

  4. I am a Twilight fan, and some of us are obsessed and sometimes we get a little defensive when people like you judge us and the book and say we are crazy. So I suggest that you read it before you call us all crazy. I got into the books by a bunch of my friends who i thought were crazy to like a book about vampires. But last summer I took the first book, twilight with me on vacation, read the book in 2 days then read all 3 books in about a week! and i was so excited for the last book, Breaking Dawn, to come out. Now the movie is coming out and there are no more books coming out since someone decided it was a good idea to put part of the book in the vampires view on the internet :(

  5. I CANT WAIT TILL THIS MOVIE COMES OUT!! if u guys havent read the book yet, u need to!!! its awsome…im curious to see what hell look like when he gose into the sun light

  6. (Type your comment here. Make sure you’ve read the commenting rules before doing so)

I’ve read all the books and they’re awesome! as cameron said its not the fact that the books involve vampires and werewolfes. The way the author tells the story is was keeps you sucked into the books. As for the movie trailer I’ve seen…. I think they could’ve chosen different actor’s who suit the character’s, but thats just MY opinion….NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE! as for the ppl saying that twilight fans are nuts, thats just CRAZY! trying reading the books and you’ll understand and of course there are going to be those crazy lil girl teens that are crazy about twilight because of the hott vamps. But really that isn’t the case at all.
    PRETTY MUCH
    JUST READ THE BOOKS
I’M MORE THAN SURE YOU’LL ENJOY

as for the movie…… I’ll get back to you’ll on that when I’ve seen it

  7. I know the thread is dead, but I just wanted to comment. My wife is obsessed as hell over these books and with Breaking Dawn coming out, I went ahead and took the leap, expecting the lovey dovey crap in Twilight. I have to say that Twilight was a good book … but IMO, New Moon and Eclipse BLOW Twilight out of the water. I think it’s because I’m a guy and I’m not invested in the romance of the love story like all the little girls are … I’m into the ACTION. The fight scenes that occur in the last two books make the series worth it! I’ve never had my adrenaline pumping so hard in my life than I did at the war that takes place near the end of Eclipse (3rd book). It makes it worth reading if you’re a dude. Just bear your way through Twilight and the first half of New Moon … it gets better … I promise

  8. Ok the book’s rock. But who has read the book’s and saw the clips? Cause it does not look like how I pictured stuff and it look’s like they changed stuff but that is ok but it kinda sucks. And like someone said I hope they seperate the book’s in to seperate movies then I can have Bella’s point of veiw in the book’s Edward’s point of view in the book’s and all the movie’s and maybe the other book’s of point of veiw like Jacob and if we are lucky the movie'[s to all the other point of veiw’s oh I can’t wait 19 days till BREAKING DAWN!!!!!!

  9. I have to say that I love the books, out of the three the frist is my favourite with the third one in a close second. I’m very excited for the movie coming out but i’m afraid that the movie isn’t going to be really bad. You know how that happens all the time when a book is written then made into a movie, there are a few exceptions but like other people have said the preview is not helping it. Since the books are so long I wish the book Twilight is only shown in the first movie then they should seperate movies for the last three books, they did it with Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter both of which i’ve never read or seen but from what friends have told me they were good.

  10. OH, MY . . . OH, MY . . . OH,MY . . . , THE TWILIGHT SERIES IS CAPTURING EVERY PERSON WHO READS IT THROUGH FALLING DEEPLY IN LOVE AND ADDICTED TO IT. NOW A MOVIE TOO . . . I AGREE WITH THE OTHERS . . . WE ARE GOING INSANE FOR THE MOVIE . . . EVEN FOR THE 4TH BOOK COMING IN AUGUST “BREAKING DAWN” I DON’T THINK I CAN WAIT ANY LONGER ! ! !

  11. Im soo in love with the twilight series. Im soo glad that they are making a movie. For anyone who has read the books would agree it will be hard to really capture the story in movie form. If its half as good as the books, it will be good. I cant wait til Aug for the 4th book and december 12 for the movie.

  12. omg who has not read twilight!! i think almost about every girl i no has read that book some more than once!!!! i no that some people say that it is going to make more money in theaters than Harry Potter will!! But the characters they chose for the movie are perfect!!!

  13. omg who has not heard of twilight!!!
it is the best book i have ever read!!! and i cant wait till the movie!! most people think that this movie will make more money than harry potter in theaters!! the characters they chose fit the characters in the book exactly!!

  14. wow the twilight books i though were basiclly touchy feely snoggy snoggy. but this has to be the worst trailer ever. i felt like it was made by a youtuber. ok and the actors are bad. Cedric Diggory (can’t remember name) come on people they only cast him so the hard core harry potter fans would watch it. his eye brows scare me. but any ways i think this will be worse than eragon and we all know how that turned out. hopefully we get to see new moon because jakes in that and he’s the only good charater.

  15. I think people need to stop being so harsh here.

YES, I am a very big Twilight fan myself, but I can admit that this was a not so good trailer. But come on, it’s the FIRST trailer and it’s only MAY, the movie is coming out in DECEMBER.

I know that us “crazy” fans keep saying that you need to read the book, but I believe that is the case here. Don’t judge until you know the whole story, that kind of thing.

And Twilight is not a “childrens” book. Very far off. Technically it is a young adult book, but it can be enjoyed by anyone of any age. (Yes, that means GUYS to, it so annoying how everyone assumes it is JUST teenage girls!) I had my 65 year-old Grandma read it and she enjoyed it immensely, as did my guy friend.

So just stop the unnecessary bashing. Constructive critiscism is one thing, but bashing the characters looks, AND the fan base (etc) is just rude.

  16. That scene inside the house until Edward flew Bella out of the window is a bit off. Anyway, I was mainly drawn to the modern vampire image that Stephenie Meyer established in the story that’s why I read the book. With characters so perfectly described like Edward, who wouldn’t be drawn to it? (.. for the girls, especially. Guys, don’t be so hard on them. Lots of girls go crazy when faced with romance and the perfection of vampire creatures ;p) But the trailer came out disappointing me, first because that is far from the Edward I had imagined, and second, because the clips they showed were really not convincing. So because I’ve seen this trailer, I’ll be reading New Moon and Eclipse with the movie characters’ faces stuck in my head.

But hey, it’s too early to judge it. The trailer might not have done the book justice but hopefully the real movie will. I have faith in the actors even though at first, the choices sort of shattered my imagination. It’s not easy bringing a book to life after all. Try reading it and see for yourself. :)

  17. OMG The trailer sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I had wanted to see the movie but the trailer made me sick. What with the hunting scene? He isn’t pale! HE WAS FLYING!!!!! HE FLEW HER OUT THE WINDOW IN A BLUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    OMG OMG OMG
    It was sooooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!
    I am so sad

  18. I was curious read the book. It was ok. If you are over 15 you might find it a bit sappy (ok you probably wont find it sappy unless you are in your 20s). Lots of cool ideas and interesting take on vampires.

That being said…this trailer makes it look awful. I hope I’m wrong and its great. The material is there for a great movie BUT…not feeling it yet. I hope too early to judge and this surprises me but so far I fear for this film.

  19. The books and the movies are amazing.

There are tons of Twilighters, thank you very much, and yes, we are a bigger fanbase than Harry Potter-nerds were, so kiss it.

  20. The trailer looks cheap and uninteresting. Totally.

I know a chick who is NUTS about these books and has been after me for the past couple of days to read them now.

I’ll admit the book does sound interesting but now I have really no interest in the movie based on the trailer. I may pick up the books though.

  21. The movie MIGHT turn out to be better than the teaser trailer, I certianly hope so, for the sake of the fans. I don’t think they can handle the movie being bad though most seem blind by their love for the book.

I went ahead and bought the book tonight so I can see first hand what the hype is about (or not) and decide if it’s acceptable for the kiddo to read over the summer. Hell, from the crack addict fans I’ve seen post (elsewhere) I don’t need anything distracting her from her school work though I would like to believe she is a lot stronger willed.

As an after thought – I’m glad there are so many people excited about a book. It is not an easy task in these days.

  22. WOW. I will admit that I knew people were crazy about the books, but after reading some of this and the links you posted in one of the comments, I’m a little embarrassed by the fans. I am a Buffy fan and I am a Twilight fan, but neither of those is because of vampires. The books are genuinely good books. If nothing else, they’re at least enjoyable. The thing about Stephenie Meyer and JK Rowling with Twilight and Harry Potter is that maybe they aren’t all that wonderful in terms of classic works of literature, but they’re really great storytellers and I think that’s why you get sucked in.

But the fans who get really crazy about it (and there are a LOT who do) just cheapen it. I mean, I think the books are great, but they’re definitely not for everybody. And the trailer looks AWFUL because the books really are very good and the trailer makes it look so cheesy and it’s really not. It really takes a lot to make a good movie from a book and I just don’t think it appears they are doing it justice. If you’re going to make a movie from a book, do it right. This just doesn’t look like it’s right.

  23. by the way people who have never seen the book or movie should shut up and watch/read it before they go judging ok and yes i am a crazed fan. i am 12 (for the record i turn 13 in july) and thing that you guys are just haters, people are always judging twilight fans but none of you have a good perspective of the point of view of a teenager liking it. and by the way there is a bigger girl fan base because, i dont think any of you peplz have noticed but, edward is fiiiine and hot i mean the fire alarm went of or somsin but yeah sorry for the long stop-bein-haters speech

  24. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMG I AM GOING TO GO CRAZY!^%$*^%$ I CAINT WAIT EIGHT MONTHS FOR THIS MOVIE OR I WILL BE PHYSICLY DAMAGED (altho i might already be) I LOVE THE SCENE WERE HE JUMPS OUT THE WINDOW ACTUALLY I LOVE THE SMILE HE GIVES HER IT IS SOOOO EDWARD AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK I CAINT WAIT THIS LONG!!!!!!!!!!!

  25. @Marina – I think you’ve posted enough around here not to be considered one of the nutcase fans. You’re safe. :)

@Chris – a 200 year old vampire falling for a 17yr old girl….hmmm, why does that sound familiar? Can we say Angel and Buffy? Funny I never thought of it as creepy, but you have a point. LoL

  26. I haven’t read the book yet, but this trailer doesn’t make me want to see this movie. It looks pretty dull. Like Smallville with vampire. It’s only a teaser, but looks so bleh.

  27. Cameron’s right, the books do take you by surprise. I found I couldn’t put it down when I started and once one was finished, I had to search for the next. They’re like crack.

    And I’m a fan but I don’t consider myself nuts…though others might disagree….

  28. Yes, they are considered Young adult Fiction but my 33 year old wife and all of her friends were going so crazy over them that I had to read them just to be in on the conversations. I actually enjoyed the books and what makes the ladies so crazy about it is the intense love between this 17 year old girl, and the Vampire. What disturbed me at first that almost got me thrown out of the house was the fact that the girl is 17, and although the vampire became a vampire when he was 17, he’s like almost 200 years old. So I made the mistake of asking the ladies if this creeped them out that a 200 year old man was loving this girl so much. Seems like he’d be so much more mature than her that they wouldn’t mesh well. You would have thought that I’d done the unspeakable. I thought she was going to divorce me right there. Good books, but the fans are definitely passionate!

  29. wow talk about fanatics. i think some ppl are forgetting to take their medicine. as for the trailer, it really doesn’t have anything that makes you go wow but now my curiosity is piqued enough that i’ll probably read the book guess i’ll find out what all the hype is about

  30. The books are young adult fiction, however I am almost 30 and I enjoyed them. I am a vampire fan and I believe the author has brought back the sexy Victorian type of vampire with Pattinson’s Edward. The movie will most likely be a huge success and I think if you have not read the aseries then you should hold judgement until you see it.

  31. Had considered reading the books a while back…. until….UNTIL some crazy chick over at some message board wrote about a twenty paragraph reply flaming me when I wrote that I had heard about the whole vampires being in daylight thing and proceeded to question it. That in itself kinda’ turned me off a little, but then about four others did the same thing. Haven’t given the books a second thought since.

It’s been about a year since that happened, maybe I’ll give the film a chance… on DVD. Judging by the crowd that is really hardcore into these books, I’d probably just get myself kicked out of the theater for ripping into some yacking teenagers who wouldn’t shut up. If I was able to sit through the whole thing, I’d probably just hate it because the of the bad theater experience anyway. I’ve had quite a few of those lately.

Doug, I think you may have some fun going to see this at the theater… if for no other reason than to get kicked out for telling off some obnoxious teens.

  32. You should check out /Film. Peter shut down comments b/c the stupidity was drowning the server

Or the latest posts at FirstShowing.net. Even saying that one is not interested in the film draws venom

  33. Doug –
They are both! Anyone who doesn’t like the teaser poster or trailer is flat out wrong because we have not read the books and don’t understand. All of us who have criticized the trailer have been told to shut up because it is just a teaser and this movie will be great and we need to read the book – yada yada yada. It is glorious on a entertaining level. I commend their passion even though it resembles that of a crazed stalker.
And not all of these people are teenage girls, some are mothers, teachers and a spackling of guys. I don’t really want to seen them gather over here, but a few would be entertaning so that you can witness the drama.

  34. The fan base I encounter Doug seems to be mostly made of girls and such. I can’t speak for everybody but I think since this movie has a lot of romance, love triangles and such it seems to get the ladies reading. The group of girls I usually hang out with usually have massive debates on who is going to be with who, which vampire is the hottest, and other stuff that really doesn’t matter to me. It’s weird to me because you expect nerds to go off on this book because all of the vampire lore but I seen girls who you never expect to get into this geek culture get all passionate about it. In fact, they are the opposite of geekdom. Anyways thats what I’ve encounter so far.

  35. I am interested in finding just how nuts the fans are! Most of you are aware of this phenomena and I am completely in the dark.

Are they crazy obsessive or crazy defensive?

  36. They are children’s books, but it’s along the lines of Harry Potter – I’m 23 years old and every adult I work with has read the books – mainly because I passed them around and made them read them. They sorta catch you by surprise how much you like them. I refused to read them until I finally went to a bookstore to buy them and 2 people stopped me and told me how much I was going to like them before I even got to the counter to check out – kinda awkward.

That being said, I’ve read a lot of stuff about the movies and the casting is horrible. Also, the books are not nearly as cheesy as descriptions make them sound and I’m afraid the movie is just going to give everyone a bad idea about what the whole Twilight series about.

If you’re interested at all in the movies, read the books first. You’ll be very happy you did.

  37. And here I was thankful that TMB hadn’t posted anything for Twilight yet….over at /Flim the commenters are crazy!

Dale is completely correct with his assestment/warning. There is some intelligence among the fanbase, but it is a tad scary. Think fanboys x 10.

I am considering reading the first book to find out about the hype and to see if it’s an apporiate book for my daughter to read, but a lot of the comments I’ve seen from fans over the last couple of days has put me off.

As far as the trailer goes, I hope they come up with something better in the coming months because right now it doesn’t look very promising. I think they would have been better off with your typical Logo trailer with a few spoken lines because right now I’m very ‘eh’ on the film.

  38. I agree with Dale, Twilight fans are absolutely nuts. I know this girl who made a paper chain, with each paper counting down the days to twilight movie comes out. There may not be a lot of them, but they are all nuts.

  39. you, sir, will be lashed for your ignorance of the almighty TWILIGHT!

but seriously, the fan base for these books are friggin’ nuts

hope they don’t discover the post since they’ll swarm over here and berate those who don’t LOVE the material, and drown the site with such flowery commentary The Movie Blog will turn into a botanical garden
