As I have stated before, I am not terribly enthused about the upcoming Punisher film. This picture is certainly not enough to bring me on board. I am not very happy about the outfit, I can tell you that right now. I want to see the punisher skull logo blazing white on his chest, not a subdued grey. The punisher logo is half the character for fuck’s sake why would you tone it down? I may be overboard on the nitpicking but if my mom made me this punisher costume for Halloween, I would kick her where I came from.
International friends, I beseech you. What are your thoughts?

Ok, I agree with the creator of this page…This man that I see in this picture IS NOT Frank Castle. When I think of Frank Castle I think Thomas Jane. And the skull logo ?!?! WTF !! That is almost a big part of the storyline. Why do they wanna almost take away the skull shirt. His only son bought him a shirt with a white skull on it, because it wards off evil spirits. Come on !! How sweet was that ?!? That’s what makes Frank Castle Frank Castle !! And this looks like a videogame where you see nothing but the barrel of a gun. Come on the movie has to have a point. Someone in the family he targeted got loose…this first picture looks like there’s no point…I don’t wanna see it if Thomas Jane isn’t in it !

I hate to judge a movie before it comes out, but that picture looks bad. It does not look like Frank Castle, but that’s my only beef. I’m sure he looks bettter in the movie. Besides, maybe the pic is from a scene where he has to be stealthy, hence the toned down skull shirt. Just a thought. Btw, I liked Thomas Jane, but the first punisher was pretty bad, especially Travolta. I’m pretty sure the upcoming movie will be loads better.

whys that. Punisher 1 was universally hated. I personally enjoyed it and liked Thomas Jane tho I never thought he looked the part. He looks too much like a nice guy. I’d expect Frank Castle to look really worn and pissed all the time. This guy looks a lot better for the part but that picture is horrible. Totally looks like Steven Segal like others have said.
I already through this movie in the garbage when I heard that Thomas Jane wasn’t gonna be The Punisher. I’m passed being “worried”.

It’s a bad picture, but I’m still looking forward to the film. I decided not to take the route of slating a film before it’s out on the basis of one low-quality image. Call me crazy.

in our interview with Lexi we just posted she told us she mixed and matched the suit look from various renditions over time. i also agree its hard to pickout but the picture is washed out.

I agree with Grundy, needs a better photo and lighting. Took me awhile to make out the skull.
Or maybe they need…a better shirt- y’know, after you wear and wash things enough times, one day you put in the wrong detergent…colors run…bleach stains…all sorts of crazy stuff…
And yeah, back in the early 90’s before his ego took over, his hair started looking like a shaggy rug and his jowels n’ bowels stuck out., Seagal could have made a decent Frank Castle or Nick Fury.

They’re still going for the washed skull look from the last one. Maybe it’s just the lighting, I remember one of the X3 promos looked like Beast was wearing a pink uniform, because of how it was lite.
They need to release a better photo.
