Is Beast In Magneto?

Beast00We have discovered an unconfirmed report that a younger Beast will be appearing in Magneto. We get the following scoop from Latino Review:

While on a visit today to the creature effects shop for Hellboy II: The Golden Army I noticed some pictures that were lying around for other movies like Land of the Lost and of course, Hellboy II: The Golden Army.

But I also noticed a photograph of a young looking Beast leaping through the air. Not a drawing, although it could have been computer generated, but an actual photo.

“What’s this?”

“This is young Beast from the prequel they’re gonna be doing. Magneto.”

“Oh, ok.” I replied, trying to act calm before my head exploded from seeing this picture. “So Beast is in Magneto, huh?”

“Ya.”

So there you have it folks, from the mouth of Latino Review; Beast will be in Magneto. Please take this with a grain of salt, and understand that we have no way to confirm and/or deny these rumors. But with the amount of “special guests” in Wolverine, I would’ t be surprised if we hear about a slew of cameos before the film is released.

Latino Review also seems to get their hands on a ton of exclusive scoops, and more often than not, they turn out to be true.

I didn’t even know they were making a Magneto movie.

    …and I thought I was a movie nerd.

  2. Klendathu says:

Makes NO sense, didn’t a pre-beast Hank McCoy already appear in X-Men 2?! Jesus, these guys can’t even get their own shit together.

The Beast (Kelsey Grammer) was in X-Men 3, but the Beast was very human looking for the first 20 years of the comics. It’s conceivable that they’d feature a younger human looking Beast in the Magneto movie. Especially since they used an older actor in Grammer to portray him in the last movie.

Love how casual this person was with this major scoop.

    “Ya”:)

  5. Mike says:

Beast was pulled off great by Kelsey Grammer in X3 but in the first X-men he was on the TV in the bar and in human form. But him bein in the Magneto movie is just another reason to see it Beast is…well a beast lol. U did by chance see any Gambit sketches or anything did ya?

  6. Steven Carroll says:

Magneto was involved with the X-Men early as well. Even taught some for a while. If they make a few minor changes that is fine with me as long as it is a good movie.

I hope that’s the case, I really do.

  8. A *photo*? A photo, they say? My, that’s just amazing, seeing how the part hasn’t been cast yet let alone the film hasn’t even started filming.

Is everyone that dull? It’s more than obvious that the conversation is taken out of context and what appears to be a statement of jest.

So what was it? Cha-Ka, the young “beast” like Pakuni as they are updated for Land Of The Lost? That’s my bet.

  9. The telling of this ‘scoop’ on other sites says the photo was an actor in all blue makeup and a long tail…then it went on to try and say it was Beast.
X-Men 1,2 and 3 span maybe 2 years and in part one Hank is human looking meaning at some point inbetween X2 and X3 he changed blue…whatever so continuity is thrown out.
But all blue and a long tail? thats Nightcrawler and it would make sense since Mystique and Nightcrawler in the books were connected and Magneto pretty much ‘groomed’ Mystique. If Nightcrawler is in then Pietro and Wanda should be too! (Quicksilver/Scarlett Witch)

    This would totally rock

Grammer pulled off beast nicely but I won’t mind a younger Beast flying through the air
