Elizabeth Hurley to star in next Harry Potter?

What do you think of Elizabeth Hurley, to call her by her Sunday name? Me, not that much. I’ve seen her in a few movies and she stuck out like a sore thumb, although a very well brought up one.
Apparently she is being pitched for a role in the next Harry Potter movie, The Order of the Pheonix, as Bellatrix the Witch. Well, I can’t comment on her personal manners really.
During CNBC News last night, it was apparently revealed that Elizabeth Hurley has been offered a part in the fifth Harry Potter Movie “The Order of The Phoenix” with the character described only as an “evil witch”, best guess for now is the role of Bellatrix. She apparently hasn’t signed yet, but is thinking about it. Filming begins sometimes next year.

So, essentially she will be dusting off her devil character from that horrible Brendan Fraser remake she was in?
As a Harry Potter fan, I was very upset to hear this news given Hurley is not made for the role of Bellatrix Lestrange.
Secondly, to my great relief, I read on a Harry Potter fansite today (www.the-leaky-cauldron.org) that a WB spokesperson has said that there is no truth to this rumor.
“Whew” is all I can say.
I’m with you Jen! It would be a horrible casting decision. I hope these rumors are just that and do not turn into truth.
Which English actors will NOT wind up appearing in at least one Harry Potter film? Kate Beckensale? Mr. Bean?
In the end, this franchise is going to be like those disaster flicks from the ’70s which featured casts of hundreds.
I hope Elizabeth gets the role in Harry Potter. I’ll be sad if she doesn’t. :( I think she’s amazing.
She´s realy sexy and preety in a very naughty kind of way, so they will spend a lot of time and $$$ on make-up so she can resemble Bellatrix.
