Sentinel Prime on set of Transformers 3

On the set of Transformers 3, an intrepid fan gets some shots of some of the vehicles, and a security guard plays Vanna White introducing a pair.

What is interesting is that he points at Optiums Prime (full with Trailer – please let him have Roller in there!) and then points at another massive firetruck and calls him Sentinel Prime

Now in the comic book series, Sentinel Prime was the former leader of the Autobots who passed on the Leadership Matrix to Optimus on his deathbed.

In Transformers Animated Sentinel Prime was an egotistical member of the Cybertron Elite Guard who mocks Optimus for washing out of the program.

In the film Transformers 2:Revenge of the Fallen Sentinel Prime is mentioned briefly in one of the spark induced trance speeches by Sam Witwicky.

I wonder how he will play out here?

  1. I do believe all the ideas you have introduced on your post. They are very convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are too short for novices. May just you please lengthen them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.

  2. The guard looks about the age to have been growing up with Transformers when they were bigger than the Simpsons. I bet you there’s more ‘lowly security guards’ out there who know more about Transformers than you’d realise.

      1. sentinel prime was to mentioned in the second movie when sam had his nervous breakdown in his astronomy 101 class you have to put the captions on to see it

  3. On different TF sites, they show this video too, and since it is a security guard mentioning it, instead someone attached to the film, there is some doubt if it is really Sentinel Prime.

    1. i agree with you, but anyway, how could a simple security guard could know anything about Transformers mythology ????

Clearly the production left those trucks (Optimus & Sentinel) on purpose, they need publicity, and if is free is much better, seriously, look how exposed and shiny are they, right in the middle of the street and with the LOGO prefectly visible.

      1. whoa! a simple guard, thats abit harsh, for all you know is he’s a massive fan. Hell I manage a liquor store, people come with transformer tshirts on all the time and I comment on them, they talk down to me cuz they think I dont know anything about TF, so I show them my TF tattoos, and they shut up. Maybe that guard has a massive optimus prime tattoo on his back, and he’s loved them for years.
