Scream 4 Teaser Poster Online

An overly uninspiring teaser poster for Scream 4 could have been for any of the scream movies, and half of the Scary Movie franchise that spoofed the Ghostface costume.

The last scream movie was in 2000, so there will be a decade between this and the last chapter. So the tagline makes sense. I still say that bringing Sidney back has to mean she will be the killer. That girl is damaged goods and I want to see her break down and become Ghostface for her own twisted view of justice.

Other than that, its a teaser. So there wouldnt be much to it.

  1. Completely fake. That’s an easy to find metal texture for the backdrop, with any old picture of Ghostface with a black drop shadow. I could remake it myself in 5 minutes. Or if it is genuine, it’s not an actual ‘teaser’ poster, but just some sort of in house promotional thing.

  2. ISN’T F’D-UP That in this day and age we are discussing posters insted of the actual film and that the posters are actually better than the film being discussed…(cue the twightlight zone music please)

I totally love Vintage hollywood movie posters but lately they just seem (posters) generic

  3. Rather than being the killer she should die in the first five minutes. If they introduse a new lead they could have another triolgy. Getting her to come back for one was probably hard enough. Who would want another triolgy? Not me but I’m sure the studio does.

As for the killer and I never made this connection before but it would be hilarious if it was ghostface killah of wu-tang fame.

  4. Did they intentionally try to imitate a cheap poster look? Or is this teaser a fake? Or do they have no money?

    Questions above questions…

If nothing else I naively hope it’s option number one: they went for this cheap look since it’s part of the movie…somehow. (I know, this sounds utterly ridiculous)

  5. I doubt that Sidney will be the ‘new’ Ghostface’. Even if it were the case, the filmmakers/studio would not make the blunder in promoting it. But since it is a “new decade, new rules” I wonder if… they go supernatural and Ghostface might be revealed to be a vengeful ghost.

(which would give an additional excuse to get Jamie Kennedy’s Meeks back to discuss the new rules)

As for the new teaser poster?
    Bleh. Puts me to sleep
