Twilight in Forks Teaser Trailer Online

Twilight hit off with a big bang. It was everywhere and on every set of lips. Some blindly worshipping it, some blindly hating on it because vampires shouldn’t sparkle.

Well it seems the plan to rush out the films might have been wise as the flash in the pan doesn’t seem to be flaring as brightly. The true test of this? Lets see if every remotely related product to this franchise sells. The truly awkward and creepy director of the first Twilight film isn’t doing any more of them, but she still got a slice of the fame when she released her “Director’s Diary” telling the tales of her experience directing Twilight.

Now a documentary is being released next month that will address the accuracy of Forks, the tiny logger’s town in Washington that is the set of the majority of the books.

Dread Central shares:

“One of the things that makes ‘Twilight’ so unique is how much time Stephenie spent, as almost a journalistic approach, researching [the town’s details] for that original story,” explained Baur. “[‘Twilight’] is about the story [of Bella and Edward] itself, but along the way she documents every nuance of the town so accurately – the names of streets, the distances between things, the actual structures and the businesses. Every detail is in the book, and it’s actually there in the town.”

An interesting fact about Stephenie’s research is that it’s really accurate — and of course, if you talk to her publicist and herself, they would say she had never been to Forks before she wrote the book,” explained Brown, setting up one of the topics they delve into for the film. “There’s actually a little bit of debate about that that, and it turns up in our movie.”

Now fans of the series will likely find it really interesting just how accurate the town of Forks is in her books. As a surface Twilight fan (just now reading the third book) I was really curious.

Then I saw the teaser for the Doc here:

Woman in a grocery store saying there are no Vampires in Forks. Brilliant. Gothy girl had me sold when she nods and says … yep, yeah.

Well a teaser is supposed to make you WANT to see the film, or at least itch for a full trailer. This teaser did NOTHING for me. I guess they are counting on the blind devotion of the Twihards to sell this.

So when does a full trailer need to come out for a Doc released in a month? This may be a fun little documentary for Twilight Fans, but this teaser is making me want to preorder it on Amazon.

  1. Well there’s a minute of my life I’ll never get back. What the fuck was that? I should of known that clicking on anything with the word Twilight in the title would have led me directly to a pile of shit.

Am I reading this wrong, or does it sound like he’s saying one thing and then the complete opposite?

Isn’t that what they did for the movie as well. That was the most poorly directed, horribly acted thing i have seen in a major release, and it stil did crazy business.
