Zack Morris on the Jimmy Fallon Show

The one TV Movie phenoms that always plagues the off season are the Reunion shows of old TV series. The actors, all aged and moved on from their roles in shows of the 80s get desperate and get roped into reprising their roles for what inevitably turns into an embarrassment.

I will never forgive the Dukes of Hazard reunion TV Movie for shattering the lust filled vision that was Daisy Duke. The slothy creature she became still haunts me.

Anyways, Jimmy Fallon has had this side gag mission to have his own Saved By the Bell reunion on his show. So when Paul Mark Gosselaar made an appearance to promote his new show Raising the Bar, he showed up in character as Zack Morris (looking like he hasn’t aged a day) and played it off like Zack became an actor after high school and is now on a new show.

Just brilliant!

I would be disinterested in seeing a Saved by the Bell reunion movie, I think it would be cool to catch up with them all “in character” on his show.

That would be a hoot.

  1. We want a Saved by the bell MOVIE an not a TV movie i mean a proper at the cinema big screen movie!
I have a petition on Facebook to get a movie started just look for a group called “A petition for a saved by the bell movie” join and ya never know! Zack ruled! oh and not forgeting Mr Belding the big boppa Belding! lol.

    1. A movie would be terrible in every conceivable way. The show truly wasn’t good, at all. BUT a reunion on a talk show for half an hour or so might be entertaining.

  2. LOL, just awesome, great video. When we were young, I remember my cousin Nina getting a signed autograph picture of Paul Mark Gosselaar as Zack. I wonder if she still has it.

I’m all for a Saved By The Bell reunion, can’t wait.

  3. that was insane. I would love to see the whole cast reunite on the Jimmy Fallon show, but i doubt Dustin Diomand will agree. He’s become a pretty large deuche.

  4. This is probably the only cool thing Fallon has done since taking over Late Night. Too bad he still can’t deliver a joke to save his life.
