Daze Vol. 2

LeslieWe have some awesome news regarding a Jeff Dean picture that features an unbelievable cast of B-List gold! We get the following scoop from our friends at the moviehole:

“Police Academy” stars Leslie Easterbrook (‘Callahan’), Marion Ramsey (‘Hooks’) and Bubba Smith (‘Hightower’) have reunited for – sorry, not “Police Academy 8 : The Hunt for Mahoney”, but – “Daze Vol. 2”, a comedy starring Corey Haim and Gary Busey (a reunion for those two as well; they starred in the 80s spooker “Silver Bullet” together).

The Jeff Dean written/directed pic takes place over three days where a radio contest provides a series of events that juxtapose the struggle to obtain money or love. The film’s three interweaving stories have a different visual style, color, and theme. The red day is about love, the green day is about money, and the blue day is about death.

According to moviehole, this film was put together for $ 200, 000! Gary Busey, Corey Haim, Richard Moll and a few of the stars of Police Academy is a fucking steal for the money. This is a great example of someone using actors that are familiar and reasonably priced!

I cannot believe the cast they have assembled, it is outstanding. I am abuzz with curiosity and cannot wait to see this ensemble play out the film. I am a big fan of the first three Police Academy films, and am super pumped to see a few cast members back together again – especially the naughty cop officer Callahan (Leslie Easterbrook.)

Jeff Dean, you are a resourceful man of vision and I salute you! I cannot wait for this movie.

    1. Dear Max and other anxious fans,

Beacuse of it’s complex nature, we are doing our best to complete the project. The post-production has become extremely difficult to coordinate. Shoestring Entertainment, L.L.C ( the real company behind the casting and production of the project) has 3 editors that work with Sony Pictures willing to come on board and complete the project. However, the director, Mr. Jeff Dean, refuses to release the footage into the right hands to complete this project. It is unfortunate that we all must wait, but sometimes thinking you are overly creative(Mr. Jeff Dean) results in a project that never gets released. From some of the footage that has been released to the public, it looks like this project will definitely stir some movie making controversy, but we must wait until another creative director decides that it’s time to give it to the hands of experience.

    1. Haim cashed his check, didn’t make it to set, and then passed away shortly. A.J Lamas replaced him and provided an extra spark to the cast. Thank you A.J and Rip Corey.
