Lindsay HOhan (oops I meant Lohan) has recently just joined the ensemble cast of ‘Ye Old Times.’

Lindsay Lohan will star alongside Jack Black in Ye Olde Times, a comedy tentatively set to start filming in April.
The film follows two rival Renaissance Faire troupes as they make their way through the competitive circuit.
Why, Why, WHY is this girl STILL getting work? She has proved especially last year that her unprofessionalism is the most consistent thing filmmakers can expect from her. Don’t get me wrong, I think she HAD potential to be great actress, but she has been given far too many chances to change her “bad girl” ways.
In fact, if she wasn’t famous, she would probably still be in jail for her DUI and drug possession charges. There are far more struggling young actresses that deserve to be given chances in the film industry.
So are YOU tired of hearing about Lindsay Lohan being given more chances to save her film career?

She’s swigging from a champagne bottle on New Year’s Eve a few months ago. That’s the night she fell off the wagon after being allegedly sober.
She sucks. She’s talented, but not crazily so. She’s always been overrated. Honestly, Mean Girls was good in spite of her, not because of her. She can’t even pose naked the right way. How the FUCK do you screw THAT up? Stand naked, pout, push pelvis toward camera. That’s it!

Not looking forward to this to this film. Do you really need to be insulting her here on the site though with remarks like Hohan? That wasn’t very professional (when mentioning their lack of professionalism) either. Not meaning to be offensive here, it just doesn’t sit right with me.
You know what? If we stop talking about her she’ll go away.
Three things.
1) She isn’t a big of draw. Her best film in the last three years was an ensemble, and the legend Altman is gone and now Lohan is up Shit creek…
2) I would like to see her cleaned up and well as much as the next person. But everytime she’s ‘clean’ give her 24hrs and she’s off the wagon, party party, fools around in rehab, (an a possible homewrecker?) and…I would like to see her get her shit together before she does much else.
3) Serena, aren’t you being a bit rough on her taking the role?

Honestly, I don’t understand the hate. As was mentioned, lots of celebs have personal troubles and turn things around and contribute to some good films. Lots of celebs are horrible to work with. So why make an exception of of certain people? In the end if she really isn’t a draw at the box office then that will and should dictate where her career goes. Obviously at this point some people think she is worth the risk/pain, but if the recent failings continue then her career will end up where you seem to want to it go.
if there is anything Americans love more it is cheering for the underdog. even with all of her trouble, people want to see her do well. i have to say that i still think that she has some acting chops in her and i’m rooting for her to pick the right rolls and get her career back on track and starting off with a movie with Jack Black will help since his movie tend to do well at the box office.
She is definitely not a box office draw. Her days of Disney movie fame are long gone.
Honestly, if she had fallen back down the hole after this last stint of rehab I would have written her off, but she has kept a semi clean slate. She is a media whore, no doubt, because if you don’t want your picture taken then don’t hang out on Robertson Blvd. Then this last week’s photo homage to Marilyn screamed trash. Personally, I think she’s a little messed up and seems desperate to keep herself in the lime light.
There have been plenty of movie actors that have had their run ins with drugs and alcohol. We’re lucky we didn’t loose the talent of Robert Downey Jr. and Drew Barrymore has managed a successful career (whether you like her or not). These two examples are enough for me to give Lindsay a chance to turn it around. I’m not sure she really has it in her, but only time will tell.

Her last few movies have BOMBED at the Box office.
She’s not a box office draw….she’s a tabloid magazine draw.
Let’s face it – you may not agree – but she is a box office draw still.
