According to the good folks over at Cinescape, the wait for the new Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is upon us and will air ahead of The Incredibles on November 5th! As if I wasn’t going to see The Incredibles already!
Our source has informed us that the STAR WARS trailer will be “placed” with THE INCREDIBLES, the new Disney/Pixar animated film also being released on 11/5. However, just because the EPISODE III may be shipped with the film cans of THE INCREDIBLES or suggested to play in front of that film doesn’t necessarily mean that every theater screen will show the SITH trailer before THE INCREDIBLES.
We were also told that there is a plan to have the world premiere of the EPISODE III trailer the evening before it begins playing in theaters on the Thursday, November 4 showing of Access Hollywood, the syndicated entertainment television news program.
Ok, I’m excited. Keep in mind all this is coming from an “anonymous” source, and we all know how reliable those can be. On the other hand, I think a lot of us have suspected that The Incredibles was where the trailer would air for a long time now, so I have a feeling this is legit. Let’s hope so.
Also will be shown during Total Request Live on MTV at 5PM EST 11/4…. which is about in about 30 mins. Sorry for late post :(
