New Inglourious Basterds Posters Online

Posted by on 20. 02. 2009in News Chat

Three new posters have hit the net for Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds.

They each focus around the central theme of the movie, and that is brutal violence against Nazis. I think the posters clearly illustrate the intention of the movie and for the first time I wonder if there is any other plot other than handing Nazis their own anus. On further contemplation I wonder if it really needs more than that?

Empire Online has enbiggenated versions.

Having read the supposed script, my answers would be

    a) Yes, there is more to it than that, and
    b) No, it doesn’t.

And I’m not even a Tarantino fan.

  2. Tony says:

I think this movie looks great and i don’t really like Tarantino that much so KILL HITLA

  3. THE FOOL ON THE HILL says:

All his movies are great, this will be the movie of the decade.

  4. 3R!C says:

Shouldn’t it say the 6th film from quentin tarantino?

  5. Anthony T says:

I am slowly becoming a non-Tarantino fan. I saw the original Inglorious BastArds and it was ok. Tarantino is becoming the “other” cult version of Tim Burton. Different being is Tarantino is drawing from original trash to create something just as bad as the original, while Burton is remaking the original into something new and trashy.

    • Rodney says:

Well then its a good thing this isnt a remake of Inglorious Bastards.

Tarantino already made it clear that he liked the sound of the name and it has NOTHING to do with the Italian film.

This is original and aside from the similarity of the names (which he spelled wrong on purpose) there is no connection. Not a remake or a sequel.

So your theory falls a little flat.
