Spy Footage Claims to be on Ghostbusters 3 Set

Footage is hitting the net with the assumption that it was spy captured on a closed set in New York, and the people who gathered it are saying that it is from the filming of Ghostbusters 3.

The “spy” has footage of a car being crushed and a quick glimpse at some items in another car before apparently being accosted by a crew member who notices the camera. Considering this footage is everywhere now, and the spy claims that “if they find out they will kill me” I have to presume one of two things. One, The spy is dead. Clearly he got caught, or is about to once this gets back to the producers and they figure out who he is. Or two.. the “spy” is a staged capture making it seem like he is getting footage he isn’t supposed to share and its just a publicity stunt.

But for who?

Is this really Ghostbusters 3 already in filming? I hadn’t even heard of an offical script or preproduction yet. Or is it a Ghostbusters 3 promotional ad filming to promote the release of the video game and BluRay releases this summer?

Or does this have anything to do with Ghostbusters at all???

And here is some Trashmonster footage:

  1. Nothing needs “breaking to us” there Agliarept..

We presumed if this had anything at all to do with Ghostbusters that it would have been for the game.

    Or not Ghostbusters at all.

  2. Hi, sorry to break ti to your guys but this is for the game. Its simple, fine im a nerd, anyway in the GB game monsters can be formed from different objects and you have to kill them/trap them to move on. Hence this shitty monster in the video. So yea, this is a ghosbusters video being shot, FOR THE GAME. its the commercial or in game footage. but it is for the game, look up videos about the game and you will see exactly the same thing. i know this to be true 100% thanks for reading me.

  3. The only thing we have to go on saying this is Ghostbusters (or related, they might be doing a commercial for the video game due out this summer) is that the “spy” said they were on the set of Ghostbusters 3.

Nothing else -including the fact that the script hasn’t been approved – suggests that this is actually ghostbusters.

@Bobby… if someone WAS taking spy footage this is exactly how I would suspect it would look. I dont think that exposes it as fake. Lots of hidden cams use a fisheye lense to compensate for the lack of real ability to aim.

  4. The camera with the fake fish eye lens gives it away? It’s a camera with a fish eye lens, what’s fake about that?

    I just think it’s not Ghostbusters 3.
