Anna Faris Sticking with Comedy

Some actors find their thing and just ride it out. And it looks like for the time being the tasty Anna Faris will be doing just that. She’s sticking with comedy.

Cinematical says:

Her next two projects, according to the Hollywood Reporter, are an untitled pitch involving the House Bunny team in which “two estranged sisters team up to land a husband” and something called 20 Times a Lady, based on Karyn Bosnak’s novel, in which her protagonist goes through all her past sexual conquests out of hopes of finding Mr. Right among their number.

I have to admit that for a while she was just that “Scary Movie Girl”, but she has grown on me to have some charm and incredible wit, not to mention that she is really easy on the eyes.

The synopsis for her upcoming films do sound like a cookie cutter fit into romcom genre, so I figure these will be fluff at best. But she does bring something unique to the projects, so it will be fun to see what they look like with her in the mix.

Well it has worked for her so far and I’m sure she has made enough money. Not everyone feels the need to do serious work but if she did I would look forward to seeing her do something else.

I think that she is a very good actress!! Would like her to do a serious role!!

  3. David Lopan says:

She’s gorgeous…I thought she was funny in the first two scary movies and just friends.

  4. Dragonslayer says:

    Dang, she’s hot

  5. I’m a fan, but I’d like to see her step out and take a risk with something off the beaten path. ‘The House Bunny’ was too safe, and frankly uninspired.

She was outrageous in “The House Bunny”. I wonder if she might play in an action move with some comedy in it, say if they have another Batman movie and decide to bring back the Joker she should play as Harley Quinn.
