ALoha international friends! I hope you had a nice weekend. For your Monday morning back to work – why not treat yourself and gaze upon the latest promo for The Day The Earth Stood Still. We get the following image from our friends at moviesonline:
I have a soft spot for fighter jets in posters. To the best of my knowledge this is the first TDTESS poster to have jets, and I support their decision.
It still doesn’t sit well with me that they have remade this film. I had low hopes for this since word was first announced. The trailers I have seen however do look better than I anticipated and I’m now interested in checking it out.

ID4 Part Deux?
Psycho is one of my favorite movies. I had to see Gus Van Sant’s remake, just to see how bad it was. About a week after I saw it, I was fired from my job at the time. I’m convinced that it was karmic retribution for having seen the Pshyo remake.
The Day the Earth Stood Still is also one of my favorites. Aside from the fact that remaking a classic is just effing idiotic, I will avoid seeing this because I don’t want karam to bite me in the ass again. .
I can’t wait for this film
I take it Keane Reeves is playing the expressionless robot?
