Suck

FoleyWe have some news to share this morning about an upcoming Canadian Vampire Rock comedy called Suck. We get the following scoop from the Yahoo Caves of Undeath!

Malcolm McDowell, Jessica Pare and Dave Foley have joined a slew of rock stars in the cast of the Canadian vampire horror-comedy “Suck.”

The indie film about rock ‘n’ roll wannabes in search of fame and vampires also stars rockers Moby, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper and Henry Rollins. Production will begin in Toronto on November 24, with writer/director Rob Stefaniuk at the helm.

The hunt for vampirism and rock and roll continues! Fuck you Twilight, Suck is coming to take top goth billing! ….. Maybe not.

I can’t really gage a level of excitement from this skeletal synopsis, but the list of guest appearances looks to be quality so far. I hope Paul Shaffer makes an appearance as Dracula. It would only be fitting for a Canadian film to throw in Paul, he’s killed it in Spinal Tap – it’s time for another cameo from the man.

Dave Foley is an outstanding comedic mind and is the primary reason I will sniff this film out upon release. The Kids In The Hall rule and if you don’t know about them – look them up.
