that actually looks pretty good
I don’t think there is enough violence.
The violence was nice… pretty good trailer, looks a lot different from the first plan jane Punisher movie…

Some of the clips look over the top ridiculous and I like that. I’ll go see it for the violence factor. The trailer is put together so badly. Toss some fucking dialog in there or something. It looks like a trailer some fan would put together and toss it up on youtube.

as much as i loved grindhouse, unfortunately thats just the look of the trailer. the other ones dont look like this

The Thomas Jane version was shit.
Wow. If I had just seen the video without seeing the name or Marvel I would have thought this was some Resident Evil off shoot or something. The first Punisher was nowhere near this gory. I lost track of how many people lost some chunk of their face. Honestly, I’ve never seen a Marvel movie this graphic. Don’t get me wrong the movie looks sick. I especially liked the chair in the face and him leaving a whole in someone’s face, after he punched them. The rocket into the room of guys at the end looks awesome. The movie looks really good, full of action, bullets, chunks of flesh, arterial splatter, and some sort of stitched up guys. The rating on this will go up most likely and I’m sure someone will complain about the amount of violence, but that always happens and its never stopped us from watching it.

hey i really recomend the MAX series. its what this is based on and its really gore and i loved it. the table scene were frank stabs the guy was taken right from it…lots of it was. its the goriest verion of the punisher…

Holy flippin fuck this just sold me! Until I saw this trail I couldn’t have cared less about the film but come on! That guy got raped with a chair leg through the face.
I have to say that this guy definitely looks the part of The Punisher. But it looks like there is all action and no story. This looks like it’s gonna suck.
Tom Jane’s Punisher movie was pretty good in my opinion. This movie looks like there’s just a bunch of overused exploding head effects. I’m really not impressed by the mindless violence, and most of it seems unnecessary.
And I’m a guy who loved the violence in the last Rambo movie.
This just looks over the top and stupid. I’ll wait for reviews though.
The Punisher punishes and that’s what this movie is all about.

You go to a Punisher movie or read a Punisher book(comic) to be bathed in blood and violence… not for a good story. This movie should offer that up. I remember when I first saw this trailer right before Comic CON… I got really excited then. I’m gonna see this movie.
Over-the-top is what I want out of this… not an OSCAR worthy performance.

This trailer has sold me on this movie and I had zero interest in it before.
Looks like Batman 3 & 4. You all are a bunch of pawns on Doug’s made from elfs blood and rhinosaurus horns chess board.
The trailer definitely got my attention. Though just because a movie has loads of violence, which this one seems like it has, doesn’t mean it’ll be good. I still think nothing more than a DVD rental.
Also Doug, and this is totally off post topic, but is comic and movie related. I think that you should check out this video on YouTube called Thor: God of Metal. It is all images of Thor (and even some Beta Ray Bill thrown in there) playing and singing Slayers: “Reign In Blood”. And it’s fucking awesome! Here’s the link.

lol at all the people saying how good it looks now. Humm I just remember yesterday everyone bashing the movie without a second’s thought and a little someone kept saying watch the red band trailer because it may change your mind.
Still looks good to me. Doesn’t mean it will be good but whoever made this trailer made it look like a PUNISHER film for once.

It does seem like the enemies have melons for heads, they implode when hit by chair legs, even punches, though there may be more to it than that. Might be enoyable in a poor mans Rambo kind of way.
I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time. Ray Stevenson is one of my favorite actors. He was badass in Rome and he’ll be badass in Punisher War Zone.
