The Swank has been given homework of ho-hos and jelly rolls, cake and ice cream, pasta and sauce. We learn today that the slender Swank needs to fill out some for her next role in French Women Don’t Get Fat from the murky caves of Yahoo:
“She’ll gain 20 to 30 pounds,” we’re told by a source close to the production. “It’s no sweat. She’s played a man before. She can handle anything.”
While French Women is nonfiction, an early premise says Swank will play the manager of a champagne company dealing with French beauties who consume bread, wine and pastries yet never gain an ounce. And naturally, self discovery happens along the way.
Hillary Swank is currently quite thin, so the addition of 20 - 30 pounds shouldn’t be noticeable, other than rounding her out some. That suits me just fine, i am of the opinion that women look better 20 pounds overweight than underweight. In fact, most men that I know agree, and most women think we are lying. What is certain is that this will be the most Swank we have seen in some time.
I haven’t read French Women Don’t Get Fat, but even in Montreal it appears to be true. For those of you that have read the book - please share your thoughts on the story with the rest of us. Will it translate well to film, and are looking forward to the adaptation.

I am a big fan of Hillary so I think twenty pounds won’t make her look fat at all, she is very lean all the time. The girl is a workout fiend probably running at 10% body-fat or less. Twenty pounds on her will make her look softer and much sexier! ;)
