Transporter 3

Statham rides again in Transporter 3! We get wind of this third installment thanks to our friends at comingsoon:
Lionsgate announced today that it has acquired U.S. and Canadian distribution rights to Transporter 3. Jason Statham returns as iconic action hero Frank Martin in the third installment of the EuropaCorp-produced series. The announcement was made today by Lionsgate’s Jason Constantine, head of Acquisitions and Co-Productions, and Tom Ortenberg, President, Theatrical Films.Olivier Megaton directs from a script written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. The movie is produced by EuropaCorp, TF1 Films Productions, Grive Productions and Apipoulai Production, in association with Current Entertainment. Besson produces for EuropaCorp. Lionsgate will release the film at Thanksgiving, on November 26, 2008. The film will be distributed in Canada by Maple Pictures.
Although I’m not a huge fan of the Transporter films, I do enjoy the fighting within them. The firehose fight in the second film is among the coolest fight choreography that I have ever seen. These are films that I don’t expect much from, but usually enjoy myself enough due to the action.
This film is currently in post production and we should be expecting some trailers and stills shortly. We will be sure to keep you up to speed.

Oh Right but the 2nd wasnt that good
NOOOO! why…i just cant fathom why they make another one, they were all horrible, these movies just bring down jason statham’s star in hollywood.
Love the first one. Hated the second, but what is Lionsgate thinking releasing this over Thanksgiving. These movies don’t do well during that kind of holiday. They should stick to Statham’s usual Labor day opening, but I guess that may be to close to Death Race.
First one was fun as hell. The second one was a piece of shit. It bums me out that Statham has to keep doing these goddamn movies. There’s potential there for him to do something other than action flicks ALL the time, but I think he’s been typecast. Shame.
If the movies keep making money then they will continue to make them, even if they keep getting worse and worse.
This film is currently in post production

It took me awhile to warm up to the first film, and despite the faults, I did like #2. But…
Why didn’t Sony want a Transporter 3?
I wonder…
Follow up:
I’m sorry. My bad.
Why didn’t FOX want Transporter 3?
paul regarde look
I dont care what anyone say, Transporter 1 kicked ass, the second one wasn’t as good as the first one but it kicked ass too but The 3rd one. Oh i can’t wait. I hope they have another BMW in this one or a bhugatti. That would be GREAT.
A couple hours with Jason Statham is all I want! We will just have to wait and see if the movie is good.
