Screenwriter Michael Elliot is expanding his entrepreneurial footprint with the launch of Cinema Puzzles, a new brand offering premium jigsaw puzzles based on iconic film moments. Known for writing films such as Brown Sugar and Like Mike, Elliot is now stepping into the licensing and intellectual property space with this latest venture.

The collection features officially licensed imagery from major studios, including Universal Pictures, Lionsgate, and The Jim Henson Company. Fans can find puzzles based on a variety of popular titles, such as Jurassic World, Jaws, Dirty Dancing, The Hunger Games, Labyrinth, and Shrek. The products are designed with premium materials and include a two-sided poster for display.

A New Chapter for an Industry Veteran

Elliot has spent decades in Hollywood shaping culture through his screenwriting work. Beyond his film career, he has a proven track record as an entrepreneur, having previously built the Hammer and Nails Grooming Shop for Guys into a national franchise with over 70 locations. With this new project, he aims to increase Black ownership in the licensing and intellectual property sector, an area where creators of color have historically faced barriers.

The brand currently offers over 250 different puzzles, with prices ranging from $29 to $49. For dedicated collectors, a monthly subscription service is also available. The launch arrives ahead of Black Business Month, highlighting Elliot’s ongoing work at the intersection of storytelling and entrepreneurship.
