The immersive arts company Meow Wolf is expanding its reach into animation through a new multi-year creative partnership with Titmouse. The collaboration between the two companies will span several projects, including the development of an original animated series based on the Meow Wolf story universe and production work for an upcoming Los Angeles exhibition.
Titmouse, the studio known for its work on series like Big Mouth and The Venture Bros., will produce and direct animation for the new Los Angeles location. The exhibition is currently scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026. In addition to production duties, the studio will consult on the visual and narrative design of the space. Both companies will serve as executive producers on the upcoming animated series projects.
This partnership marks the first large-scale collaboration between the two organizations. By combining Meow Wolf’s experience in building interactive, large-scale physical environments with the animation expertise of Titmouse, the companies aim to create new ways for audiences to engage with their shared storytelling worlds.
San Diego Comic-Con Reveal
Fans interested in learning more about the collaboration can attend a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The event, titled Weirder Together: Meow Wolf + Titmouse, is scheduled for Thursday, July 23, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM in Room 25ABC.
The move to bring Meow Wolf’s surreal, lore-heavy environments to the screen is a natural evolution for the company. Given the visual complexity of their existing physical installations, partnering with a studio that has a track record for bold, creator-driven animation suggests a high-energy approach to their future multimedia projects.
