A high-stakes action thriller starring Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi has officially secured a theatrical release date alongside a new title. Previously known as Hotel Tehran, the project is now titled The Fix.
Release Details and Plot
Inaugural Entertainment will bring the film to theaters on September 11. The story follows Larry, a former CIA operative played by Neeson, who is haunted by a failed mission in Afghanistan. Alongside his trusted ally Tucker, portrayed by Levi, he leads a team of disgraced operatives into Tehran for a high-risk rescue mission intended to redeem their pasts.
The film also features a supporting cast including Quincy Isaiah, Wes Chatham, Titus Welliver, Navid Negahban, and Elnaaz Norouzi. Guy Moshe directed the feature and co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Bacci and Ron Hutchinson. You can find more information on the film via its IMDb page.
A New Direction for the Genre
The shift to a September release positions the film as a key entry in the fall theatrical slate. Director Guy Moshe noted that the production aimed to balance large-scale action with the human cost of conflict. By focusing on the moral weight of the characters alongside the physical intensity of the mission, the creative team hopes to offer a more sophisticated take on the traditional action thriller.
For fans of Neeson, this project continues his long-standing presence in the genre, while the pairing with Levi adds a fresh dynamic to the screen. With the release date now confirmed, audiences can expect a gritty, character-driven experience when the film arrives in cinemas this autumn.
