New Anime Additions to Darkroom
The Darkroom streaming platform is expanding its library with a selection of rare and exclusive anime titles. The service, which focuses on independent, foreign, and cult classic genre films, has added several notable projects to its roster for subscribers to explore.
Among the recent additions is the action-heavy Crusher Joe film series, which includes the original feature along with its sequels, Crusher Joe: A Trap of the Frozen Jail and Crusher Joe: The Final Weapon ASH. The platform has also introduced the surreal comedy series Haré + Guu DELUXE and Haré + Guu FINAL, as well as the sci-fi series Simoun.
Expanding a Niche Library
Darkroom continues to position itself as a destination for viewers seeking content outside of mainstream offerings. By securing these specific anime titles, the platform provides fans with access to projects that are often difficult to find on larger, more general-interest streaming services. The addition of these series and films aligns with the platform’s goal of curating a diverse catalog of arthouse and genre-bending stories.
The platform is currently available via web browsers at Darkroom.film and through dedicated apps on major mobile platforms. Monthly memberships for the service are priced at $2.99. According to the announcement, the platform plans to debut additional anime content throughout the summer and fall.
