Anya Taylor-Joy Leads New Heist Thriller

The new limited series Lucky is set to make its global debut on Apple TV this Wednesday, July 15. The pulse-pounding thriller stars Anya Taylor-Joy, who also serves as an executive producer on the seven-episode project.

Based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Marissa Stapley, the series follows a con artist named Lucky who finds herself on the run after a multimillion-dollar heist goes sideways. The production hails from Apple Studios and Hello Sunshine, with Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter serving as executive producers for Hello Sunshine.

Jonathan Tropper created the series and serves as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer. He is joined by executive producer Cassie Pappas, who also serves as co-showrunner. Jonathan van Tulleken directed the pilot episode and executive produces the series.
