Report: Sebastian Stan May Play Victor Zsasz in The Batman Part II

New details have emerged regarding the casting for The Batman Part II. While previous speculation suggested Sebastian Stan would portray Harvey Dent, a fresh report indicates he may instead be playing the serial killer Victor Zsasz.

According to a report from The Insneider, the role of Harvey Dent is actually expected to be filled by Brian Tyree Henry. Neither director Matt Reeves nor the studio have officially confirmed character names for the new cast members joining the sequel.

Character Speculation and Production Updates

The possibility of Stan playing Zsasz aligns with his previous comments about working with hair and makeup teams to design a specific disfigurement for his character. While this description was initially linked to the Two-Face persona, it could also apply to the character of Zsasz, who is known for carving tally marks into his skin.

Filming for the project is scheduled to begin this month at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, with additional production taking place in London and Liverpool. The film, which stars Robert Pattinson, is currently slated for an October 1, 2027 release.

Why This Matters for Fans

The potential shift in casting roles highlights the ongoing mystery surrounding the expansion of the Gotham City rogues gallery in this franchise. With Zsasz being a distinct, psychopathic presence compared to the tragic arc of Harvey Dent, this change would significantly alter the narrative expectations for the upcoming sequel.
