Rosario Dawson spoke at Comic Con Scotland about her character Ahsoka Tano in the upcoming season of Ahsoka. She said the warrior who once carried heavy gravitas is now learning to relax and enjoy life again. Dawson explained that Ahsoka’s healing begins with moments shared with Anakin Skywalker and her friend Hayden Christensen.
Healing Through Friendship
During the first season, Ahsoka faced a brutal duel with Baylan Skoll. After losing, she fell into the World Between Worlds where her former master Anakin rescued her. That rescue helped her forgive herself and opened a path to healing. Dawson noted that those scenes let Ahsoka see a brighter future. She added, “I love that we get to see her smile more and work with the community.”
New Faces and Returning Heroes
Hayden Christensen confirmed he will return as Anakin Skywalker for Season 2. Fans also learn that Admiral Ackbar will appear and clash with Grand Admiral Thrawn, promising an epic showdown. Behind closed doors at Star Wars Celebration 2025, creators showed massive battles that span two galaxies.
Casting Updates
Following Ray Stevenson’s passing, Rory McCann steps into the role of Baylan Skoll. Mary Elizabeth Winstead returns as Hera Syndulla and says she will see more action this season. Winstead shared, “I get to do a lot more in this season and it feels great to be part of the fight.”
What to Expect From Ahsoka Season 2
The next chapter will focus on both galactic conflict and Ahsoka’s personal growth. Viewers can expect brighter moments as Ahsoka learns to trust her instincts and let joy guide her decisions. The series will blend intense space battles with quieter scenes of friendship and healing.
Upcoming Star Wars Content
While a release date for Ahsoka Season 2 remains unknown, fans can look forward to Star Wars Visions Volume 3 arriving on Disney+ on October 29. The Mandalorian and Grogu will also return to theaters soon, adding more excitement for the franchise.
