Temuera Morrison’s Star Wars Legacy: A Plea for More Boba Fett
For over two decades, Temuera Morrison has been a part of the Star Wars franchise, bringing iconic characters like Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and Captain Rex to life. Despite his extensive involvement, Morrison is not satisfied with his current status in the franchise. At the recent Tampa Bay Comic Convention, he urged fans to contact Lucasfilm to bring him back for more projects.
Temuera Morrison’s Plea For Return
Morrison’s passion for his characters is undeniable, and he believes that fans share his enthusiasm. He encourages everyone to send a fax, letter, or email to Lucasfilm, expressing their desire to see him and Daniel Logan, who played young Boba Fett, return to the franchise. Morrison’s plea is backed by Logan, who playfully roasted his co-star as the ‘greediest person’ in Star Wars, hinting that there will be plenty of opportunities for him in the future.
Given the overwhelming popularity of Boba Fett, it’s hard to imagine Lucasfilm not revisiting the character in some form. Morrison’s last appearance in the franchise was as Captain Rex in an episode of Ahsoka, but he is currently reprising his role as Ka’iana in Apple TV+’s Chief of War.
Final Thoughts
Would you like to see Temuera Morrison return as Boba Fett (or Jango Fett or any of the Clone Troopers) in an upcoming Star Wars project?
