X-Men First Class DVD Release Date?

I am sure they plan these things long before the movie hits theaters, but we usually don’t hear about it until after. X-Men First Class isn’t even in theaters yet, and the release date for the Bluray and DVD has come out, as well as images of the collector’s set slated for the same time.

Filmonic leaks:

The DVD/Blu-ray release date has been set for October 2011, and the limited set will include an Emma Frost comic, t-shirt and 10 characters identity cards.

The set looks impressive. I really like the tshirt. Of course this news is from a European source, so the date my indicate their release, and that collector’s set may differ in other regions.

But when the time comes I will probably just buy the BluRay and comment on Mistique’s overly large forehead.

  1. My family members all the time say that I am killing my time here at web, however I know I am getting know-how every day by reading such fastidious articles or reviews.

  2. Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.

Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I
can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about creating
my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
    Cheers

  3. Is October 2011 really when the DVD because I was going to see it but the theaters were already done with playing it. The hole saga is amazing.

  4. The title on the DVD box is the french title (Xmen: Le commencement). By the look of it, it seems like a DVD set that will be available exclusively at the FNAC stores -and so, only available in France- (they often do those kind of collectors)…

  5. While I agree it’s too early to hype thiss stuff -it almost sounds like Fox doesn’t think this will do great (the lousy one sheets were the early clue) but when I stopped to think about it, the October street date is a normal window timeline and given the set of goddies, I could easily see why this warrants attention.

Now all we need is a DVD or Blu Ray set in a case shaped like the -Jet or Magnto’s helmet and we are good to go.

The big question though whether or not the film’s good enough.

      1. I didnt get to see in time so I was wondering if there was any theater that plays late movies in souix falls, SD, marshall, MN, or pipstone, MN.

Because I believe you when you say that the movie was good. huge fan myself and really want to see it.

  6. Fill me in dude please: That’s the same vesion of Mystic (silly question)from Singers version? she seems a bit younger so I guess my question is does she age normally? or is she like Logan in that sense.

I’m not that well versed in the X mythology compaired to other Marvel Heroes.

and Yeah, She has a big forehead and seems to have some Baby fat as well.

    Set looks cool

    1. Yes she is mostly like Wolverine when it comes to aging. I read a series called WOLVERINE: GET MYSTIQUE and it shows the first time the two crossed path in 1921 and she is already a woman in that era, not a child, so she must be close to Logan’s age.
