The upcoming new Thundercats Animated series has a new trailer that shows a little more of what is going on.

I think it looks awesome. It is certainly updated in style and animation quality, but it really has a lot of the tone and feel of the original, but looks less hokey.
The Wileykittens are still there, and there will be a Snarf, but I am assured that they are being handled differently than their annoying original counterparts.
Strange, I didn’t see Panthro in this one.

Hey Rodney, is Panthro not in this? I didn’t see Snarf in the trailer either but Panthro is the man or cat. It’s kinda surprising they didn’t show him in the trailer.
When does this start up. I think this and young justice will give my aging self my animated kick for the near future. Plus I like to throw my old cartoons at my 6yr old son and let him see how good dad had it in the 80’s and how crap his stuff is today.

The story looks as though they might have updated it a bit. Big Thunder Cats fan. They need to make a life action movie of this gem. If they can translate Transformers, they can give us the Thundercats.

I was a big Thundercats fan back in the day (younger days) and was at first excited to hear of its return but I was expecting an improvement in the animation or at least a change in style. Oh well….
