Greenberg Moves Release Date Back Two Weeks

Seems the quirky comedy Greenberg staring Ben Stiller has been bumped back two weeks and will now release on March 26th.

The official release didn’t give a reason for the shift, but it might be to put some distance between this and the release of Alice in Wonderland the previous week. But its out of the frying pan and into the fire coming out on the same week as Clash of the Titans and I Love you Phillip Morris.

I think they might have been better off where they were.

I am looking forward to this, but I worry that its going to get lost in the mix of some pretty impressive March releases.

  1. Stillers quirky comedy is o.k. in all those comedys that seemed alike. I hated the museum movies but the other stuff is always enjoyable in a throwaway kinda way.

Heartbreak kid(got bashed but was funny)
    Polly
    Mary
    Fockers
    all fun

  2. I’m on the same lines as the other commenters — I’m really interested in seeing him in a different kind of role for once. A tad more serious, but with a little dry humour in it. Could work really well.

Now the story just needs to hold up throughout the film. Sometimes films like these have a tendency of dragging out once the initial introduction to the film’s world ends.

  3. Wow! This looks really good. It’s nice to see Stiller playing a role where he isn’t a complete idiot. And is it just me or does he look like he has lost a lot of his bulky frame. In all of his films he looks bulky like his dad, and here he looks really thin. Interesting!
