A few Teaser posters have been released for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
With the original release date already long behind us, “Teaser” has taken on a new meaning. Potter fans everywhere are already chomping at the bit for this movie. What was supposed to be a Christmas season release, is now filling the void left by the Writer’s Strike that left WB without a tentpole for its summer audience so they delayed this movie. I hope 10 years from now they make a Fanboys sequel depicting the comedic efforts of some Harry Potter Fanboys stealing a copy of this movie that should have been out two months ago!

I like the dramatic look of these images. Half-Blood Prince was my favourite of the Potter books as it spends a great deal of time with Potter looking in on memories that reveal Lord Voldemort’s humble origins. The book has a darker tone with that “storm is brewing” kind of feel to it, so the dark gloomy tones of the poster capture that well.

oh, and sadly (**DONT READ THIS IF U DONT WANT ANYTHING SPOILED**), they took out the battle of hogwarts from the movie (or so ive heard (think positive!!)) :( some other stuff was taken out too, but that was the thing that stuck out the most to me

I can’t wait till this comes out! it will be the best of the Harry Potter movies!! and I agree with John, I want to see the castle fight!! They look amazing and I think the movies have only gotten better. Bring it on! I like the three posters.This movie will be the best movie so far and people’s perception about the movie who thinks it is all about kids will definately change. Harry Potter is way better than twilight, i mean i like twilight but harry potter continues being better.

I really also hope the rumors of the “No castle fight at the end” are false. I kept hearing that Alan Rickman gets screwed “again” with the movie and it’d make me sick to my stomach to see that climax nixed. It sets a stage for the final book (and final two movies I would think) where Snape and Harry are truly enemies.

I am still pissed as a lot of fans are that they moved the release back to this year. I’ll probably still see it, but that was just a horse-shit move by the studios.
They should be punished for it with low ticket sales!

I too agree that the HP6 was a bad idea. Though I must admit that when I look at these they remind me forcibly of the book five cover, so to took me a while to realize that it was advertising the next movie.
I like the three posters, but I think the “HP6” sticks out like a sore thumb. I don’t like it.
I definitaley agree,for as in these posters they potray a very dark time within the grounds of hogwarts or in harrys world.and many fans of the series will rush to see. but i also think this one might bring in parents, the kind that thought there kid was wierd for keeping the potter series books in there hands every hour of the day.and hbp was also my favorite book.
