New “The International” Poster

We have a poster to show you for the upcoming evil bank film The International. We get the hook up thanks to our friends at comingsoon:

The International Poster

This poster doesn’t do it for me. I like the hypnotic circles, but the stars of the film are too small in the image to make their appearance worth while. Trailers for this have begun to pop up before films and I can’t say I’m interested. Nothing about this film has hooked me so far.

What do you guys think of the poster?

  1. I will add that I like Clive, enjoyed Shoot Em’ Up. Thought it was a fun over the top film, Children of Men was great too. Just seems like he’s in the same type of role for the most part.

  2. Is it me or does Clive seem to play the same role in a different movie, where he’s paired with a member of the opposite sex and ends up protecting them.

  3. The poster doens’t really matter, it does look interesting though but it’s too complex for a sober mind to understand. I’d have to take an acid trip or something to make anything of it.
I’ll watch any movie with Naomi, she’s a tremendous actress, Clive’s the shit too.

  4. Clive and Naomi are enough to get me interested so I’m sure I’ll be checking on this regardless of movie posters which these days aren’t a marketing tool worth caring about. Most people first see the movie poster when they go see the movie with everyone catching trailers online.

  5. I agree about the poster, it doesn’t really work. I did really like the second trailer though, so I’m kinda looking forward to it. The fact that Clive Owen is in it probably has a lot with that too. If you haven’t seen him on the Ricky Gervais show Extras, you really should. I think it’s on youtube, just type: Clive Owen Extras or something like that. Hilarious stuff.

  6. Actually i like the poster. It`s different and after all, the movie is about a normal guy taking on a huge bank empire. I think the poster gives you a good feeling for that.

And i didn`t care about the trailers either but Firstshowing reported that Fox beefed it up with explosions and action sequences from other movies to give it more mainstream appeal…
