  1. Bal, I think your realising that horror films are pretty sick stuff. Yeah sure we’ve all been raised on Holloween and Nightmare on Elm St, but when something like that happens in real life it hits home.
I really doubt the passengers on that bus will ever see a horror film again. How can you top that, sheeessh their prob having nightmares as we type.
Latley when I see mindless gore on screen I get a headache and get depressed.

The latest story on this “guy” is that his first words to the judge we’re “please Kill me”……

  2. Referring the greyhound incident – according the police reports and the court readings, Vincent Li (the attacker) was found to have pieces of the victim in his pockets (parts of the ear, nose and mouth). He did indeed injest parts of the victim.
Having been a horror movie buff for years, I have loved watching gore on the screen – from barker to hooper and everything in between. However, I still find myself really disturbed by this “psychotic” episode. To have somebody defile another human being has really gotten to me. Maybe too squeamish in my old age…

  3. @Slushie
The latest news reports I’ve read on the major news sites do say he ate some of the victim’s flesh while waiting for the cops to arrive.

  4. Ok, 790, he never snacked on anything. Way tot wist things around. Yes, what he did was horrible and devastating. Yes, he stabbed him a couple hundred times before decapitating him. But no, he did not feast on his remains after.

    Please, stop spreading rumors.

  5. I don’t see this doing any real business at all.
Especally in Canada, where they just had some REAL freak kill a passenger on a bus….
He stabbed the guy with a meat cutters knife , cut his head off and then snacked on the remains.

Nice to see the anti-gun laws working up there.

  6. That’s what the general consensus is on horror movie websites, J Bryant. Bloody Disgusting seems to have inside info that says that’s what the current plan is.

And the that lame rip-off will get a wide release and everyone will think Repo ripped THAT one off when both come out on DVD. Happens all the time with movies, and it’s sad.

  7. I caught this flick last Friday here in Rockford, and it was a packed house. Too bad Lionsgate thinks this isn’t worth putting in the first run theaters, because everyone at the showing I was at seemed to enjoy it. Oh well…

My guess is that they’re gonna do this same stunt with REPO: THE GENETIC OPERA.

  8. @ Dan – No merch amigo, some people were asking about where they could see it so I put up the list because it was made available.

It would take more than merch to get me to shill for a movie. If you are going to accuse me of taking bribes, please give me the courtesy of having a higher price tag than a t-shirt.

  9. I’m glad John is supporting this film. I saw it and thought it was pretty good. Definitely worth a theatrical release. A film like this needs all the help it can get, so this kind of promotion is great. If not then all were gonna be stuck with are Saw movies and Prom Night remakes.

  10. Plugging films that you have rubbed shoulders with the cast again? When did you last put times up for a film??? I cant remember one time. You must get free merchandise or something!

    Dan

  11. i have a bootleg copy of this film and i got to say that its crappy……..i had more hope for it and the gore is over the top…..like it was gonna be the defining point of the film…well its not and its just over the top.

  12. I dont like these limited release films…I mean I live in Buffalo,NY…so the only close place from me to go to see it according to the list above, is Rochester. come on if your going to limit were it can be seen then do 1 theater in every major city in the US. Now because i cant go see ill just wait to buy it on DVD.

  13. It’s a shame the kind of attitude Lionsgate has toward this movie, and toward Clive Barker in general. He gets fucked over more then any other horror guy in Hollywood.
