Apparently the trailer for the new Richard Donner movie 16 Blocks, starring Bruce Willis and Mos Def is online. Me, I’m not going near it as it doesn’t run in Opera or Firefox (unless you install an ActiveX plugin) and in IE I get a nice crash for my attempt.
So be warned, but if you’re interested in seeing it give it a go over at Bet.com (bet you can’t get it working!) through dtheatre, and tell us what you thought. Or, if you find it in a friendly format, let us know.

Wasn’t easy, but I got the trailer to work at that site and watched it. Looks interesting in a typical Bruce Willis action fare kind of vein; but the first thing that popped into my head while watching it was that it looked like a blatant ripoff of Clint Eastwood’s old movie The Gauntlet. Maybe it’s just me seeing that, or is this actually a remake? Wasn’t sure, but it looked like there were even some action scenes with a bus. Who knows, but it looks like Hollywood’s originality meter is still on empty…
