Conan the Cimmerian Barbarian rises again. Yes folks that’s right, and Doug… sit down buddy… but Conan: Red Nails is coming to the big screen in the summer of 2006. But don’t expect Arnold to dawn the armour this time around. Conan Red Nails is going to be a full length animated feature.
Doing the voice of the mighty one is Ron Perlman (Hell Boy). But Perlman isn’t alone. two other notable voices joining him in Conan Red Nails are James Marsden and veteran voice actor and Star Wars legend Mark Hamil. Oh this should be fun.
What isn’t exactly clear at this moment is if the film is going to be a direct to video or theatrical release. As of right now the people behind the film is New Line HOME Entertainment… which indicates the plan is for direct to video… however there have already been whispers that it is being considered for a theatrical release. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
