Cry HAVOC, and Let Loose The Boobs of War

This one should make my friend Darren quite happy. Apparently the stunning Anne Hathaway (The Princess Diaries) is growing up in the new film HAVOC. Steamy loves scenses with another girl, nudity, ect. Maybe she feels she needs a role like this one to break out of the “princess” stereotype and be taken more seriously. At any rate, the good folks at JoBlo have an interesting post on this. Here’s a quote:

It’s an interesting trend these days that young actresses who break into Hollywood via “kiddie” flicks make the transition into “serious” films by flashing a boob or two. And, if you’re expecting me to pontificate about morals or ethics then you’d be wrong. I’m ok with it. In any case, the latest young hottie to show us the joys of puberty onscreen is none other than Princess Mia herself Anne Hathaway in an upcoming movie called HAVOC. In it, Hathaway stars alongside Bijou Phillips as two upper class girls who venture into East LA and become involved with a Latino gang. It’s been reported that the love scenes (which I assume involve Hathaway and Phillips) are quite explicit.

I’m going to reserve all judgment until I actually see the film. I’ve always thought Hathaway had a lot of potential as an actress and it’ll be interesting to see her in something so intense. And yes Darren, you can come too. Read the whole JoBlo article here.
