The Resident Evil franchise is set to take over Las Vegas this summer. Universal Horror Unleashed has announced an immersive, interactive experience inspired by the Capcom survival horror series, running from July 9 through August 30, 2026.
A Raccoon City Takeover
Guests entering the venue will be thrust into the alternate world of the games, navigating through six distinct zones designed to simulate a viral outbreak. The journey begins in an arrival zone featuring a Raccoon City sign, before moving into a police department setting where attendees must solve puzzles to progress. The experience continues through an infected quarantine area and a combat zone, where fans can encounter iconic characters including Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Leon S. Kennedy.
Following the interactive segments, the final zone offers an aftermath experience themed around the Umbrella Corporation. This area includes food and beverage options for purchase, allowing guests to decompress after their mission. This addition to the Universal Horror Unleashed lineup provides a unique opportunity for fans to step directly into the high-stakes atmosphere of the games.
Why This Matters for Fans
Bringing such a massive gaming property to a live, interactive environment highlights the continued expansion of horror-themed attractions beyond traditional seasonal events. By incorporating puzzle-solving elements and character encounters, the experience aims to bridge the gap between passive viewing and active participation, offering a fresh way for the community to engage with the long-running franchise.
Tickets for the event are available now through the official Universal Horror Unleashed website. For those interested in the history of the series on screen, you can check out the Resident Evil film franchise details.
